About client

We were approached by the company “Vchano” – a provider of digital services for businesses that automate document management, collaboration with suppliers, and simplify interaction through electronic receipts, waybills, and qualified electronic signatures.

Project goal

To develop a multifunctional Telegram bot that would provide:

  • Information support for forum participants;
  • Access to the program, location, as well as the ability to ask questions to speakers;
  • Organization of an interactive auction with integration of Google Sheets.

The main goal is to have time to create a quality product in a short time, since there is only one week left before the forum.

Idea

To create a convenient tool for effective interaction with event participants, automating data collection and providing feedback. The bot was to become the key contact point for forum guests, facilitating communication and interactivity.

Tasks

Develop a Telegram bot with Google Sheets integration for auction functionality.
Set up functions to receive the event program, location address, and access to information about speakers.
Add the ability for participants to ask questions that would be automatically forwarded to moderators.
Ensure quick notifications to participants about updates and interactive actions.

How did we achieve this result?

The Problem

The client approached us planning to create bots for Viber and WhatsApp. However, delays in account registration forced a shift in focus to Telegram. The task was complicated by tight deadlines and the need to provide a range of different functions.

The Solution

We implemented a multifunctional Telegram bot that included:

  • Up-to-date information about the event, including the program, location, and organizers. Participants could quickly familiarize themselves with all important details in a convenient format.
  • Through the bot, users can easily register for various activities and participate in contests, receiving clear instructions and automatic confirmations.
  • Allowing participants to place bids (+1, +3, +5, or +10 thousand), with integration with Google Sheets enabling automatic updates of bid data.
  • Sending messages to moderators about new bids in the auction or questions for speakers. This allows for quick responses to participant activity and ensures seamless communication.
  • The ability for users to choose a speaker from a list, leave a question that is automatically forwarded to the responsible person and stored for further processing.
  • Reminders about important events, the start of presentations, or changes in the program. Individual messages are also available to help avoid missing important moments of the event.
