Creating quality content without a copywriter using artificial intelligence tools

To start, let’s look at 2 examples of texts.

Which one do you think was written using artificial intelligence, and which one was written by a copywriter?

Here’s a hint. The first text I found on Google, and it dates back to early 2020, when no one had heard of neural networks yet.

So, the first one was written by a copywriter. The second text is a part of an article from my blog, which was written using artificial intelligence based on the subtitles of one of my videos.

So, is it worth hiring a copywriter?

Neural networks like ChatGPT or Google Bard can easily replace a mid-level copywriter. They work faster than a human and do not require payment. So, if you need fairly simple texts, with an average price from a copywriter of less than 100-150 UAH/1000 characters, you can easily write them using artificial intelligence.

The only condition is the presence of a specialist (business owner or hired marketer) who understands content and can configure the neural network’s work according to the goals.

Thus, ChatGPT and similar tools provide an opportunity to create more quality content at lower costs!

What Artificial Intelligence Can Do

Modern neural networks can do more than just text. They can, in particular, create websites, paint pictures, voice videos, etc. But if we talk about text models of artificial intelligence, their main capabilities are as follows:

• Generating various types of texts (articles, scripts, descriptions for social media, etc.)
• Adapting style for different audiences
• Changing the structure of the finished text (for example, an article into a script)
• Generating ideas and plans for content
• Creating texts based on audio (subtitles of podcasts or videos)

What to expect from artificial intelligence

But it is always worth remembering that neural networks are still algorithms, not humans. So there are certain “pitfalls”:

• Possible inaccurate or outdated information
• Not everything generated makes sense
• You cannot rely 100% on automated content

Therefore, it is worth checking and editing texts, as well as combining AI with human work.

Free neural networks for working with texts that can replace a copywriter

In the past year, I have tested many neural networks that create texts. Among them were both paid ones, such as Jasper AI or Copy AI, and numerous free options. Among all of them, I would recommend starting with the free ChatGPT and Google Bard.

These two popular neural networks have their advantages and disadvantages:

What to know about ChatGPT

• He understands English better and writes in English. But you can use any translator to work with him. Although he also understands Ukrainian, the quality of his texts in Ukrainian is quite low.
• He does not have data from 2022 and later, meaning the information he possesses is quite outdated. However, you can always provide him with current information that he can use when creating content.
• He is not always available. In the free version, he does not always work due to system overload. This often happens after 5 PM Kyiv time.
• There are many applications and extensions that enhance his basic functions. For example, there are free extensions in the Google Chrome browser that use ChatGPT for transliterating YouTube videos or those that can create a short summary from a large article.
• He often lies. Do not confuse ChatGPT with a search engine. He can provide you with completely unreliable data. So, if you are not an expert in the field for which you are creating content, it is better to verify the information provided by this neural network.
• He performs quite well as a marketer, and it is convenient to communicate with him. For example, you can ask ChatGPT to act as a marketer and ask you questions that will help you conduct market research.

What to Know About Google Bard

Every neural network has its advantages and disadvantages. Google Bard compensates for the disadvantages of ChatGPT well, and vice versa. That is, these two artificial intelligence tools complement each other perfectly.

Regarding Google Bard, it is important to understand the following:

• It writes quite well in Ukrainian right away
• It can provide inaccurate data, but allows for verification
• Bard is integrated with other Google tools, such as Google Sheets
• It can provide several text options for the same task
• It can change the Tone of Voice and text length
• It is not the best conversationalist

How to Properly Build Queries to the Neural Network for Quality Text

Here are a few key tips:

1. Clearly formulate the task and the expected result

2. Specify a detailed role from which the AI should operate

Here is an example of a query for writing an article:

You will act as a copywriter. Help me write an article for a blog. I will provide you with key theses and an article plan. You will need to elaborate on the theses in more detail and write the article according to the provided plan. The length of the article should be between 1000 and 1500 words.

Article topic: “5 Proven Ways to Earn Money Online WITHOUT Finding Clients”

Article plan:

Introduction: where the problem is revealed that many people want to earn money online, but not everyone wants to work with clients. And that it is possible to earn money online without the need to find clients, which will be discussed in this article.

Method 1: Earning through affiliate programs, even if you don’t have your own website. WITHOUT the need to spam in personal messages and all sorts of other nonsense. For example, using your own blog or Pinterest, etc.

Method 2: Selling digital products on Amazon, Etsy, and others. For example, you can develop electronic planners or coloring books and sell them on these platforms.

Method 3: Launching a regular paid email newsletter or selling recorded courses, etc.

Method 4: Developing a Telegram channel and selling advertising and your own digital products in it.

Method 5: Dropshipping and generally reselling everything and anything. For example, I have an acquaintance who finds various old items and resells them on OLX. Or there are girls who buy items at thrift stores and then resell them at a higher price through Instagram.

Final paragraph: it should be summarized that there are many ways to earn money online. Some of them require the ability to find clients, others do not. But there is no magic “money” button that will help you earn money online without doing anything.

3. Ask clarifying questions to explain the task as accurately as possible.

This way, you can obtain texts of quite high quality. Here is an example of a text that Google Bard wrote based on the request I provided above.

How artificial intelligence can help set a technical task for oneself

For this task, I recommend using ChatGPT. Write the following request in the dialogue window: You are a copywriter-marketer. Help me generate a technical task for writing a blog article on the topic “[article topic]”. What questions do I need to answer to create a good technical task?

Here is an example of questions that the neural network provides for such a request:

Next, you will need to answer all these questions directly in response in the chat dialogue window and write the command “Formulate the technical task”

And it will do it:

Then you can use the technical task formulated by artificial intelligence for generating texts in any neural network.

In what other tasks can AI be useful in content creation

Besides writing texts, neural networks like ChatGPT and Google Bard are good at:

• Generating headlines and key phrases
• Creating calls to action
• Developing email newsletter and SMS message scripts
• Selecting descriptions and hashtags for social media
• Automating routine tasks of a content marketer

Thus, artificial intelligence can be a powerful assistant for your business. Try using ChatGPT or Google Bard – and you will experience their capabilities firsthand!
