Ask Meta: The most effective ways to contact support for ad issues

Facebook is notorious for its bans. Most likely, since you are reading this article, you already have some issue with advertising on Meta.
The most appropriate reaction is to write to support. And here is where the problems begin, as most people do not know, and the most popular articles on the internet are already outdated, because Meta has recently undergone a series of updates.
So here are tips on how to easily contact support.
What Meta support can help with:
- Resolve issues with ads not displaying properly
- Remove the spam label from your link
- Fix unknown errors in your Ads Manager (AM)
- Recover a hacked account
- Unlock an account
Live Support Chat
The easiest option. If you have an issue with the AM and it is managed by an agency, ask them to contact support. Facebook/Meta has added a direct support chat for “professional” clients. The downside is that if you are an ordinary user looking for a way to find direct contact, you do not have that option.
So how can other users write to support when a problem arises?
Through the Function in Ads Manager
- Go to your AM.
- Click on the small question mark in the lower left corner.
- This will open the help center on the right side of the AM. There you need to scroll down a bit and click on the “contact support” button.
For me, it says “create a new request,” because I have already contacted support.

Once you click the button, you will be prompted to select your issue from a list and the related resource. After that, a chat with support will open. It looks like this:

You can also do this through the help center in Business Suite.
Through the Help Center
- Go to the Meta Business Help Center.
- Scroll down a bit and click “Contact advertising support”

- Here you will see a list of all profiles and accounts you have access to. You need to select your issue here.

- Fill in the information window and details of your issue, and when you have filled everything out – click the “Start Chat” button (without this, the button will be inactive).
